Fabulous DOMINO! July 5, 2010 Omayra 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Domino: The Book of Decorating: A Room-by-Room Guide to Creating a Home That Makes You Happy
Simply Put: Ehh . . . June 29, 2010 Amanda Carlson (Addison, IL) After just adoring the Domino magazine (a Better Homes and Gardens for the trendy set), I've been waiting to find this book, but then ugh! What a waste of time and money. The book offered nothing new or interesting in terms of decoration. In fact, I can't even call this a "best of Domino". Save your money, instead petition Lucky to bring back Domino.
A nice substitute to the magazine June 13, 2010 Ayanna Bryan I was sad to see Domino magazine end. I suppose in this economy it's to be expected. Anyway, I haven't gotten a new subscription to a magazine, but I am buying decor books now. Domino isn't as flashy or modern or even innovative as some of my other books... but it's pretty good. A bit messy chic, like the mags or an Anthropologie store, but comforting and with easy to follow tips. I like it.
love this book! May 12, 2010 Alice Joyner For starters, I purchased this book on Amazon because it is way cheaper here than in a specialty store. I love the layout of this book, it's very informative with lots of beautiful photographs and illustrations. I definitely recommend it if you like creative, somewhat vintage and antique with a little contemporary all mixed in one. If you didn't know anything about decorating before, you should know plenty after picking this up!
A Keeper, Good Reference and Resource Book May 3, 2010 The Purple Bee (USA) This is a book I enjoy looking at over and over and it has many stimulating ideas.
It is a nice addition to the design books I have.
