Worked Great August 15, 2010 mom I purchased this airbed for my sister and her 3 yr old daughter to sleep on while they visited us for 2 weeks. The airbed was very easy to set up, inflated quickly and did not need 'topping up' with air at all during their entire 2 week stay. The only advice I would give is setting it up at least the first time a few days before you need it because there is a strong plastic smell which is off putting at first but it dissappears after a day. Also note - there is no mains adapter, it probably states this clearly in the description, I knew it had a battery powered travel pump but assumed there would be a mains adapter as well - there isn't so just be sure to stock up on batteries before you need to inflate it!
My two sons 6 and 3 and my neice did jump on it many times during the 2 weeks (despite my pleas not to!!) and the airbed held up fine!
I was very happy with this purchase and would recommend it. The travel pump has been very useful - it also fits our inflatable pool and blows it up much faster than the pools own pump!
Exactly what we wanted August 2, 2010 Suzy Greenburg My boyfriend & I have used this mattress camping for 6 nights. So far the mattress has been great. We are not small people yet we both had plenty of room & we did not roll into eachother. The height is great. Not too high to be squishy (like the double tall twin air mattresses we had been using) and not too low (making it easier to get up & down.) We did add air each night before going to bed, but we never felt like it lost air over night to the point it made us uncomfortable at all. We just like the mattress firm. However all the campers I know always add a little air to their mattresses no matter what type it is. The pump is powerful & fast and the light is handy. Some people wish it could plug into the wall, but as long as u have fresh batteries it should not really be a big issue.
Disappointed July 15, 2010 V. T. (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really want to love this bed. We have to return the bed because it leaks air. The cap doesn't stay on.
For the money, we also would like to have the pump works with AC. I used the car charger to blow up the bed but it was too big to get it into the tent so we had to use battery to charge it. The bed gets soft very quickly. It is comfortable when it is firm.
I have a single airbed that I got more than 10 years ago. That one holds the air better.
Comfortable May 16, 2010 Clear Lake (Houston, TX) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Bought this bed for my son who came home from college for the summer. He says it is comfortable, but needs air added every few days, thus the three stars. Pump which is included inflates it quickly, but as previous reviewer commented, buy an electric pump so you can re-inflate in the room where the bed is set up. Also, read in one review for an air mattress to use silicon grease to get a good seal on gasket, but cannot find it anywhere.
Comfortable for camping May 8, 2010 dbollie (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased this specifically to use while camping. Used the included portable hand pump (requires 8 c-batteries). Pump is not too noisy and inflated fully very quickly - didn't time it but their claim of 2 minutes would not be far off. The bed is very comfortable and supportive for an air mattress and held the air really well for the 2 nights we camped.
